KOL 30 can simultaneously disable the microphones of up to 30 mobile phones or alternatively a combination of phones, tablets or computers, can be customized according to the needs. This is done by generating supersonic noise, which effectively protects from hearing any sound at the surroundings of the system. This noise generation is random so that it is practically impossible to reconstruct the signal.

Once the system detects that a phone has been left in a cell, it will trigger the supersonic noise in that specific cell until the phone is removed. The system works with connection to electricity. It can as well be powered by an internal battery that allows it to operate for 10 hours continuously in case of an electric shortage. The system blocks the ability to record the conversation near it by using the cell phone of one of the participants, as well as any attempt to intercept a cell phone by a third party. If a call is received while the phone is in the box, it will ring, but conversation will not be possible until the phone will be out of the system.
